Our global teams took on the challenge to make a difference in the way the global financial markets operate. Would you seek the same challenge?
At LSEG, we help our customers achieve success by providing access to an open platform that uncovers opportunity and catalyzes change.
About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Global Business Director (GBD) in KSA to lead and grow relationships with some of LSEG's largest and most strategically important global banking clients.
As a GBD, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global client strategy, building trusted partnerships at the highest levels and driving sustainable commercial growth. Acting as the bridge between our clients and LSEG, you will bring together the breadth of our products, services and expertise to deliver innovative, integrated solutions that address complex business challenges.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring the ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and commercial execution. You will engage with C-suite executives, lead complex commercial negotiations and mobilise global teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Above all, you will be a trusted partner to our clients and a powerful advocate for their needs within LSEG, championing a One LSEG approach that creates lasting value for both organisations. You will have the opportunity to shape significant client relationships, influence business outcomes on a global scale and play a central role in LSEG's continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Client Leadership & Executive Engagement
Own and lead relationships with designated global clients, positioning LSEG as a trusted strategic partner.
Build and sustain relationships with C-suite executives, senior decision-makers and key influencers across multiple geographies and business lines.
Develop a deep understanding of client strategies, priorities and challenges, anticipating evolving needs and identifying opportunities to deliver differentiated value.
Partner with LSEG's senior leadership and executive sponsors to strengthen strategic alignment and engagement.
Commercial Growth & Strategic Account Management
Take accountability for the commercial performance and sustainable growth of assigned global accounts, driving revenue growth, market share and profitability.
Develop and execute global account strategies that align LSEG's capabilities with clients' short- and long-term objectives.
Identify, originate and lead complex commercial opportunities, including strategic partnerships, enterprise-wide agreements and multi-year initiatives.
Lead sophisticated negotiations to deliver mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
Maintain effective account governance, including forecasting, pipeline management, performance monitoring and executive reporting.
Enterprise Collaboration & Client Solutions
Champion a One LSEG approach, connecting clients with the full breadth of our products, services and expertise.
Mobilise and influence global, cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated commercial and strategic outcomes.
Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement, expand product adoption and increase LSEG's strategic relevance.
Collaborate across product, commercial and operational teams to ensure effective delivery and exceptional client experience.
Market Insight, Innovation & Leadership
Maintain a strong understanding of global financial markets, industry trends and emerging technologies, translating insights into strategic opportunities.
Anticipate changes in client business models and proactively shape solutions to address evolving needs.
Represent LSEG as a credible industry partner, bringing thought leadership and market insight to senior client discussions.
Provide leadership across global account teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance while mentoring commercial and relationship management talent.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Commercial Expertise
Extensive experience managing strategic client relationships within global financial services, banking, capital markets or financial technology.
Proven success delivering commercial growth through strategic account development, consultative selling and complex enterprise solutions.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and senior stakeholders within multinational organisations.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience leading complex negotiations, strategic agreements and long-cycle sales opportunities.
Deep understanding of financial markets, industry dynamics and the challenges facing major global financial institutions.
Experience developing and executing global account strategies across multiple geographies and business lines.
Leadership & Personal Attributes
