Data Analyst

Data Analyst **Job Type:** Full-time **Experience:** 0–3 years **Location:** Chennai Job Summary We are looking for a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good knowledge of SQL and Excel, and experience with data visualization and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities - Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources. - Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. - Identify trends, patterns, and insights from business data. - Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. - Prepare regular and ad-hoc business reports. - Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements. - Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). - Validate data accuracy and maintain data quality. - Present analytical findings and recommendations to management. - Collaborate with business, product, finance, and technical teams. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of **SQL**. - Advanced knowledge of **Microsoft Excel**. - Experience with **Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools**. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of **Python** for data analysis. - Familiarity with **Pandas and NumPy** is an advantage. - Understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts. - Good knowledge of data cleaning and visualization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and presentation skills. Preferred Skills - Experience in building interactive **Power BI/Tableau dashboards**. - Knowledge of Python-based data analytics. - Familiarity with cloud databases and data warehouses. - Understanding of ETL processes. - Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts. - Experience working with large datasets. Education Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
