**.NET Backend Developer – Database & DevOps** **Experience: 5+ years** **Location: Remote** **Employment Type: Full-time** **Joining: Immediate joiners preferred** **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced .NET Backend Developer with hands-on expertise in backend development, large database management, and DevOps. The candidate will build scalable APIs, optimize database performance, manage cloud deployments, and maintain reliable production systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop and maintain backend applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs. • Design, manage, and optimize large relational databases using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL. • Optimize SQL queries, indexes, database schemas, and overall database performance. • Implement authentication, authorization, API security, and third-party integrations. • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. • Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. • Work with Git, Docker, and deployment automation tools where required. • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. • Manage database migrations, backups, logging, and system reliability. • Take ownership of backend development, database optimization, and production deployments. **Mandatory Requirements** • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST API development. • Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, and query optimization. • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployments. • Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. • Understanding of application security, scalability, debugging, and production troubleshooting. • Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions. **Good to Have** • Docker and containerization. • Redis, caching, and background processing. • Infrastructure as Code and automated testing. • Experience with high-traffic applications or data-intensive platforms. **Ideal Candidate** A hands-on engineer with real-world production experience who can independently handle backend development, database performance optimization, and DevOps activities. Candidates with only API development experience or theoretical knowledge of databases and deployments may not be suitable.
