Senior Data Scientist- Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist (5+ years experience) with deep expertise in Python, NLP, and LLMs. This is a framework-building, client-facing role, where you will design scalable AI systems, define solution approaches, and work closely with clients and internal teams to solve complex healthcare problems. We value individuals who can go beyond model usage—architecting reusable frameworks, driving technical direction, and guiding teams in building production-ready AI solutions. What You'll Own: Frameworks & System Design ● Design and build scalable NLP/LLM frameworks for clinical applications ● Architect reusable and extensible AI systems for multiple use cases ● Define system design patterns for deploying and scaling ML solutions Advanced Model Application ● Evaluate and adapt SOTA models for complex, domain-specific problems ● Drive experimentation and model improvements for real-world impact ● Balance model performance, latency, and scalability requirements Client & Stakeholder Collaboration ● Work closely with clients to define problem statements and success metrics ● Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured AI solutions ● Clearly communicate model capabilities, trade-offs, and limitations End-to-End Ownership ● Own the full ML lifecycle: problem framing → experimentation → deployment → optimization ● Ensure production-grade reliability, monitoring, and performance ● Drive continuous improvement of deployed systems Technical Leadership ● Mentor junior data scientists and guide best practices ● Lead design discussions and improve overall technical quality ● Contribute to building a strong AI engineering culture Research & Innovation ● Stay current with advancements in NLP, LLMs, and healthcare AI ● Translate cutting-edge research into scalable production solutions What We're Looking For: Must Have ● 5+ years of experience in Python with strong expertise in NLP/LLMs ● Proven experience designing scalable ML frameworks and systems ● Strong experience applying SOTA models to real-world problems ● Experience building, deploying, and monitoring production-grade ML systems ● Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into structured solutions ● Strong system thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ● Experience mentoring team members and driving technical best practices ● Ability to independently own and deliver complex projects Nice to Have ● Experience with LLM observability, monitoring, and evaluation systems ● Strong familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face ● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) ● Experience building reusable ML platforms, pipelines, or internal tooling ● Prior experience in client-facing or consulting environments Benefits: - Provident Fund Application Question(s): - Are you willing to work from Koramangala Bangalore office - Have you ever been interviewed by Rapid Claims - what is your current salary - What does your expected salary - What is your notice period Experience: - Data science: 5 years (Required) - Python: 4 years (Required) - NLP: 4 years (Required) - LLMs: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
