About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Reconciliation professional to manage day-to-day vendor and business payments, invoice processing, and reconciliations. The role calls for strong accounting fundamentals, familiarity with Indian statutory compliance (TDS, GST), and the ability to work accurately with high volumes of financial data. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and banking partners to ensure timely and compliant processing of transactions. Key Responsibilities Vendor & Business Payments: Initiate daily bank payment requests received from various stakeholders and ensure timely execution. Vendor Invoice Processing: Process vendor invoices received from different departments accurately, ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements such as TDS and GST. Reconciliations: Perform bank, inter-company, and vendor reconciliations, and ensure open line items are closed on a timely basis. Corporate Credit Card Transactions: Review corporate credit card transactions and follow up with cardholders to obtain the supporting invoices and documentation. Employee Reimbursements: Review and process employee reimbursement claims on a weekly basis in line with company policy. Foreign Transactions: Review foreign payment documentation and initiate remittances through the bank in compliance with regulatory requirements. Issue Resolution: Identify discrepancies in invoices and reconciliation items, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve them promptly. Management Reporting: Prepare periodic reports for management (Trade Payables, Advances, and reconciliation status), summarizing the reconciliation process, discrepancies, and resolutions. Monthly Closing & Audit Support: Ensure timely completion of monthly closing activities and audit schedules, working proactively to avoid negative findings or observations. Process Improvement & Automation: Continuously identify opportunities to automate and streamline reconciliation and reporting tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Strong understanding of accounting principles and Indian statutory compliance, including TDS, WHT, and GST . Working knowledge of online transaction processing, including foreign payments and statutory payments ( GST / TCS / TDS ). Proven ability to work with large volumes of financial data while maintaining accuracy in reconciliation tasks. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel , including Power Query and VBA , for data manipulation and reporting. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver within tight timelines. Preferred / Added Advantage Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , particularly in financial and AP-related processes. Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate and  scripting for finance workflows. Responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
