Senior Software Developer - Backend

About the Role : As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling core product features. You will take ownership of modules end-to-end and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions. You will also mentor engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices across the team. Key Responsibilities : Design and develop scalable, high-performance software systems. Own modules end-to-end including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build impactful product features. Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code. Drive performance improvements and system stability. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions. Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools. 3–6 years of experience in software development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. Experience building scalable and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres). Experience with MongoDB, Web Services, and microservices architecture. Experience working in product-based companies, internet companies, or startups is preferred. Experience in e-commerce or travel domain is a plus. Skills Required : Strong understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture. Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools. Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
