Shipping Lead

The Impact You'll Make As a Shipping Lead at Danfoss, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the products they need, when they need them. Your work will directly influence delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency across our Louisville manufacturing facility.   You will serve as the connection between shipping, production, sales, and logistics partners, helping ensure products move safely and efficiently from our facility to customers across North America. What You’ll Be Doing Lead outbound shipping activities to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, accurately, and in compliance with shipping requirements. Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers, freight providers, and internal teams to support smooth and efficient product flow. Manage shipping documentation, invoicing, and daily transaction processing to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance. Analyze delivery performance data, identify root causes of missed shipments, and implement improvements that strengthen operational performance. Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives through visual management, process documentation, and collaboration across departments. What We're Looking For High School Diploma/GED One-year certificate from college or technical school Three or more years relevant work experience Computer literacy and strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of process documentation and record keeping Knowledgeable of ERP software such as Axapta or SAP Ability to self-start and perform with minimal supervision Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team player and ability to fit into an established team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups U.S. work authorization   This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
